A yoghurt bar for your wedding: the fresh break your guests remember

Fresh fruit, granola, coulis and whipped cream to compose yourself: a yoghurt bar gives your wedding a light breather between two highlights. Here is how it works, who it suits and how to make it yours.

A wedding unfolds in several moments: the ceremony, the welcome, the dinner, the party. Between two rich moments, guests enjoy something lighter. That is exactly what the Gourmélice yoghurt bar is for: a fresh, colourful counter where everyone composes their own bowl.

How it works on the day

We arrive before the agreed time and set up the counter in a few dozen minutes: chilled topping trays, elegant tableware, decoration in keeping with your style. During service, a member of the Gourmélice team welcomes your guests, fills the bowls with chilled yoghurt and guides them through the toppings. Everyone leaves with a bowl made their way, with no queue and no dishes for you to handle.

At the end of the slot we pack up and leave the space clean. The yoghurt bar is a turnkey catering animation designed to complement your caterer’s meal, not replace it.

The toppings

  • Fresh seasonal fruit: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mango, banana depending on the season.
  • Crunch: homemade granola, flaked almonds, hazelnut pieces, crumbled biscuit.
  • Sweet touches: red fruit coulis, honey, salted butter caramel, whipped cream.
  • Finishing touches: chocolate shavings, grated coconut, mint leaves.

The yoghurt is served plain or lightly sweetened, and we adapt the selection to any intolerances reported in advance.

Which weddings is it for?

The yoghurt bar is ideal for welcoming guests after the ceremony, for a next-day brunch or as a fresh break during the party. It pairs beautifully with a waffle or pancake bar: hot and cold, crisp and creamy. For a savoury cocktail, our burrata bar completes the picture. It is also a fresh alternative to a candy bar, with real preparation in front of your guests.

Guests and timing

One yoghurt bar comfortably serves around fifty people; beyond that we plan refills or a second bar to keep service smooth. A typical slot lasts two hours, adjusted to your schedule.
